The RS 130 floor boiler of the Mytherm company can cover spaces up to 1500 m². It can run on oil, gas or pellets, and through combustion it heats water, which is transported through pipes to heat radiators.
When operating with oil, there should be a separate tank, from which the fuel will be pumped. Alternatively it can work on a gas installation. The advantage of this mode of operation is that there is no need for a separate fuel storage tank, as the gas is supplied directly from the mains piping. Finally, it can also work with pellets, which is an ecological fuel derived from the compression of wood from which moisture has previously been removed. It is also practical to use, since it is easily transported packed. Additionally, due to its high energy density, it does not need much consumption and is more economical compared to oil or wood.
In order for it to work, a burner must be purchased, which is also responsible for the process of burning the fuel.
It is made of steel and compared to a cast iron one, it shows greater resistance to sudden temperature changes while it is noticeably lighter. At the same time, it has a fairly high level of performance, while its lifespan can reach up to 30 years.
