The electric round knife DOST 080, a product of the German company of the same name that specializes in the manufacture of professional electric cutting knives
of gyros for the last 20 years, is a particularly popular model, ideal for professionals consuming up to 50 or more kilos of gyros per day. Weighing just 830 grams, the DOST 080 is easy to use and versatile. The 2.5m long cable is removable thus facilitating cleaning and maintenance procedures. The ∅ 80mm cutting disc is ventilated to avoid overheating and sharpens easily. The knife consists of stainless steel parts and high strength plastics and is particularly resistant to heavy professional use. All its parts are detachable, to clean and reassemble easily and quickly, without tools. It is suitable for all types of meat – pork, chicken, lamb, veal (doner, shawarma) and allows manual adjustment of the thickness of the gyro slice from 1 to 10 mm. An extra saw blade is also available. Its package includes a sharpener and a 230V AC/14.4V DC transformer.
*DOST 080 is cleaned with running tap water. It is noted, however, that the cleaning process should be done with special care, as the penetration of water may cause a short circuit.
